ACTV Water Bus for your travel in Venice.
Official Prices – No Extra Fees! – Skip the line to get your vaporetto tickets!

The vaporetti will take you to all of Venice's interesting sights.
You know how it is: City trips are often very tiring. The reason: Many visitors try to see everything on foot. In Venice, this is NOT possible. The neighboring islands Lido, Murano, Burano, and Torcello, respectively, are accessible only by boat. Large sections of the Grand Canal have NO walkway along the shore. Here, too, you’ll need to take a boat. And before you spend hundreds of euros on a water taxi, you’re better off buying a ticket for the water buses, known as vaporetti.
There's often a lot going on in the city!

Unfortunately, not all boats are as empty as the one in this picture.
The Most Important Line 1

For you as a tourist, Line 1 is the most important and interesting one. It runs from the parking garages at the Piazzale Roma, Train station, Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Square, Biennale, all the way to the Lido and back. A ride right down the middle of the Grand Canal lets you see many of the sights and take plenty of beautiful photos while sitting comfortably.
The bus stops

The stops are easy to find. You don't need to study the exact schedule. During the day, a Line 1 boat comes every few minutes.

Our tip:

Like any city tour, exploring Venice „on foot“ can quickly become tiring. This is especially true on warm summer days. Take a short break and hop on bus line 42 or 41 for a sightseeing tour: From Venice to Murano and back again, passing the harbor, the train station, St. Mark’s Square, Guidecca, the Biennale, the cemetery, and more. For photographers, this tour is practically a must. Not only will you find plenty of photo opportunities, but you’ll also get a sense of Venice’s unique island setting.

The validity period of the tickets
For the duration of the ticket, it doesn't matter when you order your ticket online.
For the purposes of the ticket's validity period, it doesn't matter when you receive your ticket online.
For the ticket's validity period, it doesn't matter when you pick up your ticket from the ticket machine.
The only factor that determines the ticket's validity period is when you use the ticket for the first time in Venice:
Example: If you use a 24-hour ticket for the first time at 10:00 a.m., it remains valid without interruption until 9:59 a.m. the next day. This means your last trip must end by 9:59 a.m.
The same applies to multi-day tickets; the only difference is that they are valid for a longer period.
