Of the 6 airport transfer options, 3 take the highway from the airport to Venice, heading to the northern outskirts of the city, with the destination being: Piazzale Roma (abbreviated as: Ple. Roma). Street taxis also take this route. Travel time: about 25–30 minutes.
Description

A taxi will be waiting for you in front of the airport building upon your arrival and will take you directly to Venice. In our experience, there are always several taxis waiting there. A standard street taxi can accommodate up to 4 people with luggage. If you are a small group of more than 4 people, you can also reserve a minibus.
The taxi takes the shortest, fastest route from Marco Polo Airport to Venice (Piazzale Roma) or to the cruise ship terminal. Travel time: about 25–30 minutes.
